An easy, impressive dessert for any occasion. Fresh pineapple chunks and apricot halves are also tasty dipping options.

Ingredients

6 oz Weight Watchers by Whitman's Caramel Medallions

1/4 cup(s) fat-free skim milk

1 cup(s) strawberries, hulled

1 medium banana(s), cut into chunks

1 large apple(s), halved and thickly sliced

Instructions

Fill a medium pot halfway with water. Cover pot with a medium metal bowl that fits snuggly over pot, ensuring that bowl’s bottom is not submerged in water. Bring water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Add caramels and milk to bowl, stirring to ensure even melting. When caramels are halfway melted, reduce heat to medium and continue stirring. When milk is fully incorporated and caramels are melted, fondue is done. Serve fondue with fruit. Yields about 2 1/2 tablespoons dip and 1/2 cup fruit per serving.

Notes

Enjoy this recipe with coffee and tea when entertaining. You can also dip strawberries or dried apricots into the fondue and then chill them in the refrigerator to make delicious caramel-covered fruits.
