First trip to K-mart for double coupon week

First off the young man that was my cashier had no clue what I was taking about.. I just asked him ..is this store doing double coupons? He said oooooooo YAH!  OK so the rules were no more than five coupons and not to double anything higher than two dollars right? Well Who am I to tell him how to do his job...

this is what I bought
leap frog kitchen magnets 8.00 I had a 5 dollar off coupon he doubled it so magnets were free and two dollars of overage

toothpaste 2.64 I had 1.00 coupon so 64 cents for crest toothpaste

girlie items 3.59 I had a 2.00 off coupon so double makes this item free with a little overage

Huggie diapers 9.00 with a 2.00 dollar coupon doubled so 5.00 for a package of diapers
Huggie wipes 2.49 I had a 75 cent coupon so this doubled 99cents for 64 count of wipes
** I do cloth diaper and make my own wipes but once again my husband likes convience so I keep this items on hand for him**
I also bought the pebble and the peguine dvd priced at 5.00 used 2.00 off coupon doubled paid 1.00
So grand total for diapers, wipes, leapfrog toy, girlie items, toothpaste  and dvd... 5.63

side note.. I did tell the nice young man the was ringing me out that I don't think the leapfrog toy coupon should be doubled and I thought their was a five coupon limit and he told me I was wrong.. SO who am I to tell him how to do his job! Hope you find great deals at your K-mart!
